Pattaya
Nightlife is like no other. The city is filled with available Pattaya
girls in a never ending supply of bars, Go Go’s and nightclubs. The
party center of Pattaya, Walking Street, is the most notorious adult
nightlife and entertainment street in the world. Only a 2 hour bus ride
from Bangkok, Pattaya is a convenient direct destination after flying
into Bangkok. The city has beaches, nearby islands, incredible shopping,
and incredible food. Here’s to Pattaya .Pattaya Beach nightlife is both
famous and infamous the world over. Walking Street, in particular, is
notorious for its seemingly endless array of nightclubs, go-go bars and
the pink neon glow which is synonymous with low-cost beers and losing
games of pool or Connect 4 with the local ladies. The nightlife in
Pattaya Beach has a great deal of variety, however, including the
glamorous ladyboy cabaret shows, fantastic views for sophisticated
sundown cocktails, friendly English-style pubs, lively discotheques,
live music venues, ice bars, Muay Thai kickboxing and entire streets
dedicated to ladyboy bars, gay clubs, beer bars and go-go bars. In spite
of its reputation, there is a good time to be had for most tastes in
Pattaya after dark.
Mixx Discotheque Pattaya:-Mixx Nightclub in Pattaya is glitzy and glamorous with two spacious rooms playing a range of party music to an international crowd of revelers. It is a club that has successfully combined an up market, sophisticated décor with a fun-loving party vibe and attracts a mixture of Walking Street clientele, couples, locals and young Thais down from Bangkok. Mixx Discotheque is found at the end of Walking Street – if you manage to navigate your way through the myriad of girls and bars and flashing lights of the most infamous street in Pattaya, you will see the luminous Mixx sign shining from the top of Bali Hai Plaza. It’s free to enter Mixx and once you’ve got through security you are faced with two doors. On the left you have Rouge Club and on the right Crystal Palace. Rouge Club plays hip hop and RnB whereas Crystal Palace pumps out house and trance music. Hip hop is more popular and Rouge Clubs fills up quickly after 22:00. House music in Pattaya doesn’t pull in such a big crowd but from midnight Crystal Palace is also suitably filled with revelers most nights of the week. Dance floors in both rooms have small podiums encircling the action and are occupied for most of the night by stunningly beautiful and supple dancers. With funky graphics twisting and twirling on the walls and red tinted disco lights, Mixx is a visually stimulating, and although there is plenty of cushioned seating and high stools, people are usually up dancing or at least propping up the bar. A lot of focus is on the podiums dotted around the club with professional dancers gyrating and high-kicking to the music.
The Pier Disco Club Pattaya:-The Pier is another very high-class venue, featuring a state-of-the-art sound system, a huge LED screen, a multi-level design and more laser lights, disco balls and smoke machines than any other place in Pattaya. The almost blindingly bright frontage (with LED screens even in the stairs you climb up to the entrance) draws you into a chic and modern interior which is usually packed with young party-goers and many of the more high-society locals. Trance and house music is played by excellent local and international DJs.
Lucifer Disko TK:-One of the older, well-established names on Walking Street, Lucifer Disko is the best place in Pattaya for hip-hop. The club is divided into two areas, both of which share the same Hell-themed design, like the interior of an infernal cavern. The front area is just like a regular and pretty relaxed bar while the main room, further in, has an excellent live group and speakers taller than half the clubbers! Not one of the biggest clubs on the street.
Candy Shop:-Candy Shop looks a bit like a beach club from the outside, with palm trees, fountains and big soft chairs and sofas. Further in, you’ll find a long central bar, a small but busy dance floor and a great live act playing hip-hop and R&B from 21:00 onwards. Despite the fact that the space immediately around the stage gets a little bit cramped, there is loads of barely-used space behind it, where you will find a couple of pool tables and the toilets. Another of the older names on Walking Street, Candy Shop is particularly popular with the local Thais.
Marine Disco:-Marine Disco is the original nightclub in Pattaya. It has been on Walking Street for decades and remains extremely popular with locals and tourists. It has been heavily modernised, with bright LED screens along the front and modern light and sound systems inside, so it does not show its venerable age. Playing house and EDM music, Marine gets really busy around 01:00 and remains that way until the early morning. Located fairly close to Walking Street’s famous tree, it is the Pattaya nightclub most popular with the local ladyboys.
Gulliver’s Walking Street:-Very nearly the first bar you come to when you enter Walking Street from the Beach Road end, the distinctive London Underground-style sign is the first stop for most nights out and, for many, it is also the last stop. It is rarely known as “Gulliver’s”, more commonly being called the “Red Car Bar” because of the bright red Cadillac stuck to the wall along the narrow alley which takes you up to the entrance. Inside, you will find a kind of pub-like layout, with pool tables, booths and a long central bar. At the far end is a small dancefloor and the DJ’s stage, from which local talent play a good mix of hip-hop and R&B music.
C
lub Insomnia Pattaya:-Insomnia
Nightclub on Walking Street is the liveliest club in Pattaya and packs
the crowds in seven nights a week, playing bass-fuelled house and techno
music to an energetic clientele of mostly foreign men and beautiful
Thai women. Visually stunning, Insomnia in Pattaya has a range of lasers
that swish over the heads of the crowd with a piercing light that helps
to create a hedonistic, ‘anything goes’ environment. The club is on the
second floor with an open-faced chill out bar below, there’s no dress
code and single drinks cost around 150-200 baht for beers or spirits,
although a happy hour runs from 22:00 to 24:00 with 50% off all drinks.
Entry is free all night. The layout of the club is long and thin with a
DJ booth occupying the majority of the far wall and bars at either side.
It is dimly lit except for the intense disco lights that are among the
most impressive in all of Thailand. Dancers are stationed on two
podiums, although the lively crowd need no encouragement to lose
themselves in the music. The downstairs bar area opens at 21:00 but the
main club doesn’t open its doors until 23:00. It fills quickly after
that and soon the dance floor is fairly packed with bodies. Although
there is no cover charge for entry, Insomnia occasionally asks for ID
and you may not be permitted entry if you don’t have any.
LimaLima:-LimaLima has a lot in common with Mixx Discotheque, which it is located directly underneath, at the Bali Hai end of Walking Street. It is a modern, trendy venue divided into two rooms, with one playing hip-hop and R&B while the other places trance, house and EDM. It has hosted some of the biggest names ever to grace Pattaya, including Boy George, Bob Sinclar, Tiësto and Fedde Le Grand, yet it has never quite achieved the same level of acclaim as Mixx has. LimaLima is still a great place to party and is especially popular with tourists.
808 Nightclub Pattaya:-808 Nightclub Pattaya is one of the newer venues in the city’s nightlife, but has rapidly grown to being amongst the most popular, becoming an essential stop on any trip down Walking Street. With a large and easily accessible central bar and great house music from top local and international DJs, its tagline of “First Class Clubbing” is well deserved.Part of the appeal of 808 Club is doubtless its prime location, roughly a third of the way along Walking Street. It can be found directly above Candy Shop – a long-established favourite in Pattaya. The escalators to the left of Candy Shop (under the large lit sign) take you up to an outdoor lounge where you can take respite from the party inside and enjoy a shisha while people-watching from an elevated position. From there, entry into the club is free. Pass through the mirror-lined corridor and you enter one of the liveliest parties in the city. 808 Nightclub Pattaya attracts a young, energetic crowd of locals, expatriates and tourists and keeps them jumping with excellent non-stop house beats.808 Nightclub Pattaya is the home of regular special events. Indeed, they barely need an excuse for a party, and those held here are rated as being amongst the best. This is helped by frequent drinks specials and fairly reasonable prices for the wide selection of beverages even when there isn’t a deal. With the well-designed central bar, a further bar near the entrance and one more out in the lounge (as well as roving servers), there are no long queues or mad crushes for a drink.

Dclub Pattaya:-Slightly unusual in its design, Dclub Pattaya is a long and narrow venue, boasting the longest bar in Thailand - an impressive 18m in length! From said bar, you can get a typical selection of beers and spirits to enjoy with the mostly hip-hop tracks coming from the DJ's podium adjascent, with occasional special nights for trance and drum and bass. Opening in September 2016 at the Walking Street entrance of Soi Diamond, it quickly developed a great atmosphere.
